I’ve created over 20 YouTube documentaries on subjects ranging from the physics of bowling to the invention of the blue LED. Together my videos have received over 250 million views.

My path began with a lifelong love of YouTube and an astrophysics degree from Columbia University. After graduating, I became a AAAS Mass Media Fellow, producing radio segments for Science Friday. Soon after, I joined the science YouTube channel Veritasium as one of its first employees. There I cut my teeth running company operations and writing, directing, and producing videos, eventually creating some of the channel’s most successful videos from 2021 to 2024.

My goal is to illuminate things we already recognize, but never truly understood. Like how I learned the word melancholy in 4th grade, but didn’t really get it until I read The Little Prince in 7th. Or how I thought I knew how neural networks worked (matrices… GPUs…?) until I actually had to make a video about them.

Now I work across science YouTube, bringing stories to audiences including everyone from PhDs to first-time learners. To me, the core ingredients of rigorous research, clear writing, and creative storytelling never change.

Based in NYC. Open to work on anything YouTube.
